Last week in AUSTRALIA, a group of scientists, screenwriters and TV producers got together at the Australian Film, TV and Radio School to discuss how new “cli-fi” content could be brought to TV screens.

“Cli-fi” – or climate change fiction — is a growing genre of stories and novels and movies and TV shows inspired by the real and troubling science of climate change and how it is impacting ecosystems and human societies. Last week in AUSTRALIA, a group of scientists, screenwriters and TV producers got together at the Australian Film, TV and Radio School to discuss how new “cli-fi” content could be brought to the small screen.

The programme host Tess was joined by the instigator of the “cli-fi” forum — marine ecologist Dr. Adriana Verges from the University of New South Wales.
